Secret Sounds is thrilled to reveal that ‘America’s favourite indie band’ TV Girl will be bringing their hypnotic pop to Australia and New Zealand in July 2024, gracing stages in Melbourne and Sydney, with a special co-headline show with much loved British five-piece The Last Dinner Party to then head to New Zealand for a one-off show in Auckland.

Tickets to the Sydney show, now taking place at Hordern Pavilion, Melbourne, upgrading to Festival Hall, Brisbane, upgrading to Riverstage, Auckland upgrading to Spark Arena, and a second show for Sydney has been added, tickets are ON SALE NOW! 

On the surface, TV Girl is a sunny, throwback splash of ‘60s French pop and southern California soul. Yet, under that shiny veneer lays a dark heart, beating with sharp wit and cynical alienation. TV Girl, composed of Brad Petering, Jason Wyman and Wyatt Harmon, was formed in 2010 by Petering as an outlet to blend the love of Spector-esque girl-group pop with an emerging interest in hip-hop. Featuring shimmering vocals and sampled beats, the self- titled debut EP of the same year turned heads online immediately.

TV Girl will limber up for their anticipated Australian shows at Governors Ball and Bonnaroo, and New Zealand before bringing their lush vintage rhythms our way in July 2024.
